Mr. Casale is Executive Vice President with commercial responsibility for all of Monsanto’s businesses in North America and Latin America North. These agricultural businesses include animal agriculture, crop chemicals, agronomic biotechnology traits, and seed.
After receiving a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Oregon State, Carl joined Monsanto in 1984 as a sales representative for The Agricultural Group in Walla Walla, Washington. This was followed by five years of product management assignments at the World Headquarters. While receiving his M.B.A. from Washington University, Carl worked as part of a team to develop new business concepts, which resulted in the creation of two new agricultural businesses. He has held a number of progressively senior positions including Sales Director, Managing Director of the US agriculture business and most recently, Vice President, North American Agriculture.
Carl considers senior executive leadership development an integral and important element of his job and any company’s success. Carl lives with his wife and three children, in Missouri.
